High Performance Tennis Program – NOW UP AND RUNNING FOR GRADES 8 – 12!
Are you serious about your tennis. Would you like to train during school time & still get your OP?
Ferny Grove High School and Pure Tennis Academy headed up by Wayne Brumm (owner of Ferny Hills Tennis Centre) and Marc Kimmich (Ex ATP Tour Player & coach) are offering pupils the opportunity of enrolling in a High Performance Tennis Program as part of their school curriculum at Ferny Grove State High School. The program commenced on Thursday 28th Jan with training squads for every year level up and running from day 1!
The Ferny Grove High School contact for this program is Warren Janetzki. Should you wish to discuss how you too can get accepted into the High Performance Tennis Program please organise a meeting with Warren & the schools guidance officer.

Welcome Uniform Pack
Tournaments
The pure tennis academy coaching team will nominate a select number of tournament tours as chosen from the TQ tournament calendar.
3 tournaments per year will be compulsory.
Options for further tournaments will be available.
Our coaching team will be in attendance at all nominated tournaments to monitor players performances.
These events will be subject to additional costs.
Sports Psychology
A lecture each term by renowned sports psychologist Dr Phil Jauncey.
Nutrition
A lecture each term by Inline Fitness Director Alan Bowman
Preventative Injury & Core Stability Training and education
A lecture each month by In-line Physio & Allied Health Director – Alison Ford and her team.
On court Program
Squad sessions: Focus will be on delivering the latest state of the art on-court drills as used by the tour professionals. Methods to include: video analysis, basket work, live ball drilling and match play.
Match Play: Supervised match play sessions where players get to play competitive sets to help them apply what they have learnt.
Fitness Programs specifically for tennis:
Players will have home fitness programs designed to enhance their on court training to improve core stability, strength, aerobic capacity, flexibility and agility.
