FAQ’S

How old does my child have to be to participate?
Children must be of primary school age to attend the camps with a minimum age of five years.

Does my child have to have previous tennis experience? No. The camps are designed so that children with the same tennis ability are grouped together to ensure they don’t feel out of place and so that each child gets the most out of the day.   If your child is wanting to attend the Squad Camp they have to be at a fixtures level to participate in this program.

Are the camps all about tennis?
No. Although our holiday camps are primarily focused around tennis and the development of tennis skills and ability, we also incorporate other sports and activities into each daily program. These include, but are not limited to: modified soccer, basketball, cricket, general games, arts and crafts.

What clothing/equipment should my child have with them?
We recommend children wear comfortable clothing which allows ease of movement and participation in all activities. Each child must also bring a hat, sunscreen and a water bottle. A tennis racquet is also essential. Racquets can be borrowed from the Pro Shop on a daily basis if need be.  Except for June/July holidays, the camp includes swimming so please also ensure your child brings swimmers & towel and a swimming shirt.

Do I need to provide lunch for my child?
We recommend parents provide a healthy packed lunch, however morning & afternoon tea will be provided.

How do I register my child/children?
Book online or contact the Pro Shop on 07 3851 0444 to book. Payments via credit card are accepted over the phone.
